What exactly is Stage 1?

An adjustment to the engine software with the existing hardware left unchanged. Injection, boost pressure and other settings are adjusted within the limits the vehicle can handle.

What does a Stage 1 cost?

€249 including VAT, including the work at your location within 30 kilometres. All rates are on our pricing page. Complex or premium control units may carry a surcharge; you'll always hear about that beforehand.

Can it be reverted?

Yes. Within 30 days of the tune we'll restore the original software once, free of charge. After that it's still possible at the normal rate. We keep your original file for two years and will give you a copy on request.

Why aren't power figures shown on the site?

Because what's achievable varies by version, software level and the condition of the car. We'd rather give you a figure that's right for your car than an average that isn't. Send us your details and you'll get a personal answer.

Do I have to tell my insurer?

Yes. A modification to the vehicle can affect your cover. Contact your insurer before having any work done.

Do you offer Stage 2?

On request. Stage 2 usually requires hardware changes such as a downpipe or intake, so what's possible depends on what's already fitted. Send us a message with your car and we'll look at it together.
